Pluto, you’ll always be a Planet to me,
No matter what they say.
You’re way out there somewhere,
Revolving around your extremely long day.
Icy and cold, you travel along
With persistence and solitude.
You tiny piece of Planet
With tremendous fortitude.
Dwarf Planet, indeed, named 134340!
Chaotic orbit, 248 earth years
Equals to your one.
No wonder you’re so small,
You never see the Sun!
It’s not meant to be a science lesson,
Let me make it clear.
I gather my thoughts together somehow,
And questions galore are all I ever hear.
Besides…if you’re not a Planet,
Who’d Disney name his dog after?
