Two things cannot occupy the same space
At the very same time.
You barrel through life smashing into
Everyone and everything.
Like you’re daring all the atoms
To bounce all over top of you.
Sending them flying all over the place,
And plowing through them all.
Sit down in a seat, sprawl to the sides.
Only you, yourself, knows the delight
Of forcing everyone else
To squish themselves real tight.
You drive down the street, texting on your phone,
Never bothering to look up.
Content in the knowledge
That you’ll always be in your spot…all alone.
No matter how you try,
You cannot swap my atoms for yours.
Has this thought ever occurred to you?
Get out of my space,
And get out of it now!
